« Intensifying the struggle against child labour.”

In its 2010 report, the BIT indicates that in its previous 2006 report, this one showed that the number of children engaged in child labour tended to decrease. The current report of 2010 indicates at global scale that child labour has been decreasing less rapidly since 2006. There has been an increase with children and young people aged 15 to 17.In Subsaharian Africa the situation is at a standstill.
The fact is finally 215 millions of children are still forced to work in the world. The persistence of child labour is one of the biggest failures of development. The report emphasises that in view of the current situation guidelines for future are clear.

“Further action is necessary to consolidate the access of primary education to all, set up a basis for social protection, and promote possibilities of productive employment so that parents and families are able to progressively escape from poverty and children are no longer forced to go to work.”

ESTIMADOS AMIGOS

The MIDADE Haitian joins approximately 2060 children accompanied by young people or adults.
Since his foundation the children with their guides were active actors to build a society of Justice and

Further to the earthquake which struck Haiti, the International Movement of the Apostolate of the children wants to show in a more concrete way its support for the Haitian Movement and wishes to realize a project of financing for the restart of the activities to which we invite you to show your solidarity.
